Schedule for giving assignments - revised and enlarged

Developments in Prague have led to a new assignment that had not been foreseen before.
Kathy and Uta found enough embroidered squares from the Guldusi Project of Embroidery in Afghanistan to go around the entire group, and went ahead and bought them. They are currently being delivered to the members of the group by either special courier or post. Once we have decided on the new size, this could/would be our next assignment: Include this square in a quilt/textile art piece.

As a reminder: deadlines for finished pieces are the end of October, the end of February and the end of June.

The following schedule for GIVING assignments covers another round of going through each member of the group:

Kathy and Uta (have already given new guidelines - 'deadline' is end of June 2015)

Eti (give new guidelines by end of June 2015)
Marylou  - (give new guidelines by end of October 2015)
Ita (give new guidelines by end of February 2016),
Barbara (give new guidelines by end of June 2016),

Gillian (give new guidelines by end of October 2016),
Margaret (give new guidelines by end of February 2017)

Eti (give new guidelines by end of June 2017)
Marylou  - (give new guidelines by end of October 2017)
Kathy
Uta

The result of the vote on the new size will be announced as soon as we have it!

  1. How exciting! I bought a couple of these embroidered squares last year ( more pictorial: a pear and a sheep) and hadn't thought how I might use them . Perhaps this challenge will give me an idea. Mags

  2. Just to be clear: Kathy's challenge is to interpret part of a photo (not literally) and Uta's is to use the Afghan squares? These are both due by the end of June ? I know Eti's is next and will be due by the end of October? Do I have this correct? We still don't have a size, though, right?
    Questions, questions, questions...

    1. The next assignment is "use Afghan square", posed by Kathy and Uta together, for onw piece only. Size is still being determined, but seems to be laening towards 60 X 120.
